Well, the hard part of the trade show is out of the way. Today we had to set up two booths--the Racer X Illustrated magazine booth and the Racer Productions/Racer X Brand booth, which is in the dome. It's always hectic setting up here, as you have to find a place to unload, carry everything inside the convention center and set up. And no matter how much preparation, you ALWAYS forget something. What did we forget today? A razor knife. Luckily, our boy Jimmy Hicks at Tag Metals hooked us up. Oh, I have to send a shout out to Jeremy Wilkey and crew over at MX-Tech Suspension. Those guys always help us out with our booth!
Next we had about 1,000 issues of both Racer X and Road Racer X delivered personally by Dewey from RR Donnelly, so that was a chore lugging those to the booth. JB then had to help Scott deliver sign boards to all the advertisers, but it's 6:00 p.m. and we're finished!
I also got Racerhead posted up over on www.racerxill.com, so be sure to check that out. It's a monster!
It was good running in to some old friends, like Bob Ketchum from Spy Optics, Ronnie Lechien from Maxima, and Chris Wheeler from Nike. DC and Julie just arrived, so it's time to catch some dinner.
